Perfect ride for hot August day in Fayetteville. We all tend to get the riding bla’s in the heat of the summer. We want to ride, but don’t want to cook in the process. That is what the Hot Roads and Cool Waters Ride is all about. We will do a relatively short ride in the morning and end up at Mike and C’s in Peachtree City for lunch. The hot roads and Star ride will end at that point.
After lunch, we can head our own ways, but every 304 member and spouse or significant other is invited to the Hartman house to commence with the cool waters part. We just ask that you go home and come back with your car, truck, SUV or what ever. Feel free to bring what ever beverages you would like. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided and served when we get hungry.
Ice and cold water will be on hand. For those who went on the Buckner’s ride, this will be a carbon copy with the exception of the route and restaurant.
The after lunch portion of this extravaganza is open to STAR members only. Please let me know by Friday afternoon prior to the ride if you plan to addend the Cool Waters part of the “ride” so we can stock up accordingly. email
